Roman Chamomile is a herbaceous perennial with a creeping habit that is ideal for establishing a flowering carpet or planting between pavers. Its tiny yellow and white daisy-like flowers possess a sweet apple fragrance and are recognized traditionally for their calming properties. Furthermore, these darling blossoms attract beneficial pollinators.

To grow Roman Chamomile, start by sowing the seeds indoors 4-6 weeks prior to your last average frost date. Press the seeds into the soil, but do not cover them as they require light to germinate. After germination, transplant the seedlings outside as soon as the soil can be worked, or direct seed them after the last frost.
