This passage describes an annual herb called Matricaria recutita, also known as German Chamomile, which produces an abundance of small and beautiful flowers. These flowers can be used fresh or dried to make a delicious and soothing tea, and they also have been used. German Chamomile is a great addition to a garden border and attracts beneficial insects and pollinators.

The bushy plants of German Chamomile grow to about 22" tall and 12" wide. Thin branches of fine green leaves develop profuse tiny ¾" white and yellow daisy-like flowers.

If you're interested in growing this herb, you can purchase a minimum of about 400 seeds, which weigh 0.25g.
