By planting this blend around your vegetable garden, you can encourage the presence of these helpful insects and promote natural pest control. The recommended seeding rate for this mixture is 9-18 pounds per acre, depending on your planting goals. If you are planting a smaller area, such as a 1/2 acre or less, the recommended rate is 7 ounces per 1000 square feet.
