Lemon Mint Bee Balm, Bergamot Herb Heirloom Seeds

Monarda citriodora, commonly known as lemon beebalm, lemon horsemint, purple horsemint or lemon bergamot, is an annual plant that is indigenous to the area. Lemon mint is a lovely addition to any wildflower or butterfly garden, with its eye-catching pink-purple blooms that are especially appealing to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds when grown in large clusters. Furthermore, the plant's leaves have a distinct lemony scent, making it an excellent choice for tea. Lemon mint can be readily cultivated in average soils with a dry to medium moisture level, in full sun to partial shade. It is naturally found in prairies and along roadsides.
