Zinnia, Cactus Flower Mix Seeds - Cut Flowers, Mixed Zinnia, Heirloom, Non-GMO
The Zinnia elegans is an annual plant that produces large 6" flowers with unique quilled petals, setting it apart from traditional zinnias. This mix of zinnias comes in a variety of colors, including shades of pink, purple, red, salmon, white, and yellow. These fast-growing plants have long-lasting blooms, making them excellent for cut flowers and for attracting pollinators.
To grow Zinnias, it is best to sow the seeds outside, spacing them about 1-2 inches apart and covering them with 1/2 inch of soil. However, as zinnias require light to germinate, the seeds should only be covered lightly. While zinnias do not like to be transplanted, they can be started indoors in plantable pots 4-5 weeks before the last average frost. When the seedlings have developed, they should be placed in an area that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight.
