In 1963, Zinnia elegans was recognized as an AAS champion. These plants grow quickly and are limited to a height of only 12", yet they yield semi-double to double flowers in an array of colors including pink, purple, red, orange, white, and yellow. Their blooms are long-lasting, making them perfect for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. Zinnias are a breeze to cultivate from seed and are highly effective at drawing in butterflies and bees. Additionally, they make an excellent choice for cut flowers.
